Oppose Deep Sea Mining
Deadline: Feb 23, 2026 @ 11:59 PM EST
The Metals Company has applied to the NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) for an exploration license in international waters. They want to mine the seafloor for minerals, a move that the international scientific community agrees is a terrible idea. It would definitely disrupt marine ecosystems, most likely irreversibly. And you already know this publicly-traded company is not going to prioritize ocean health (which affects literally everybody) over short-term shareholder value.
